Rental conditions
These terms and conditions apply to Villa El León Blanco SL with company number B76351717 trading under the commercial name Holiday Homes Gran Canaria. The approval number of Villa ElLeón Blanco is 2019-T2092.
Definitions
1. Holiday Homes Gran Canaria is the landlord.
2. The guest is the person who placed the reservation. He is responsible for his fellow guests. The guest is 18 years of age or older.
3. The common areas are the garden, the parking lot, the swimming pool and the areas around it.
Rental agreement
When the guest has booked an accommodation with Holiday Homes Gran Canaria, he has accepted the offer and the agreement is in force. If it is found that one or more clauses in these general conditions are void or voidable, the rest of the general conditions shall remain in force. In this case the clauses will be replaced by new clauses.
Validity
Holiday Homes Gran Canaria cannot be held to its offertes or offers if the guest can reasonably understand that the offertes or offers, or any part thereof, contain an obvious mistake or slip of the pen. Offers and offertes are valid for 7 days, unless otherwise specified. Holiday Homes Gran Canaria is only bound to the offerte if the acceptance of the offerte by the client is confirmed in writing within 7 days. The reservations, in whatever form they are made, and the information contained in publications of Holiday Homes Gran Canaria are entirely without obligation and revocable. After acceptance, Holiday Homes Gran Canaria has the right to revoke the offerte within three working days after receipt of the acceptance by the guest.
Reservations
Reservations can be made through our website or by mail.
Adults only
The minimum age of our guests is 18 years. Exceptions may be requested by mutual agreement and with the written consent of the landlord.
Subletting and purpose
Subletting or reletting is not permitted.
The rental property is a vacation home and cannot be used for other purposes.
Payment
The reservation made is final only with payment within 5 calendar days, after that the reservation automatically expires.
Cancellations
Guests can cancel up to 30 days before check-in. They will then be entitled to a refund of 50% of the reservation. If cancellations are made within 30 days prior to check-in, the full amount of the reservation is due to Holiday Homes Gran Canaria.
Check in/out
Check in by guests can be done from 3 p.m. In case of late arrival, the key is available through a key box.
Check out by guests should be no later than 11 am.
Liability
The guest must take care of the rented property with due respect and he is responsible for the damage he or his fellow guests cause.
Pets
Pets are not allowed
Smoking
Inside the house and common areas, such as at and around the pool and in the garden, smoking is not allowed.
Liability
The landlord is not liable for possible accidents, damages or injuries of any kind, nor for theft or burglary in the vacation rental.
Maximum number of people
No more people may stay in the vacation rental than you have reserved. Visitors are allowed on their own private terrace but not in the common areas, swimming pool or surrounding areas. The number of visitors is limited to 2 adults. Children are not allowed. The landlord has the right to cancel the rental agreement immediately, without any refund, if this is not respected.
Linen
Every week the bedding is changed. If you stay more than 7 nights, the landlord will provide you with fresh sheets every week. Towels and bath towels for sunbeds are generously provided for each guest.
House Rules
Upon arrival, each guest receives the house rules. The main point in this is respect for the other guests, no loud music in your rented accommodation or on your private terrace, nor in the common areas. Noisy activities and private parties are not allowed. The swimming pool is accessible between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Intellectual property
Holiday Homes Gran Canaria remains holder and owner of the rights to the brand, models, trade name, corporate identity, photographs, content, etc. Without written permission from Holiday Homes Gran Canaria the aforementioned works may not be copied or translated, nor given to third parties, made available for inspection or published for commercial purposes. Failure to comply with these conditions regarding intellectual property shall subject the Guest to a fine of €5000.00 (five thousand euros) per day and per violation, payable without notice.
Complaint Procedure
If the guest has any complaints about the work done, they must notify Holiday Homes Gran Canaria within 7 calendar days by registered mail to Calle Puccini 3 35100 Maspalomas, Spain. After receiving a complaint, Holiday Homes Gran Canaria will respond within 30 calendar days with an appropriate solution. Holiday Homes Gran Canaria can refer to a dispute body. A dispute body is always used first before either party applies to the courts.
Court
If the settlement of disputes proves to be insufficient, all disputes concerning the interpretation, validity or execution of the present agreement shall expressly belong to the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district. Holiday Homes Gran Canaria reserves the right to bring a case in the judicial district of the residence or registered office of the guest.
GDPR
By accepting the agreement, the guest acknowledges having read and agreed to the processing agreement, privacy and cookie policy and disclaimer. These are an integral part of the terms and conditions and are considered accepted. The documents can be found at holidayhomes-grancanaria.com/legal. When carrying out a delivery requested by the guest, whether or not confidential (personal) data under the GDPR, Holiday Homes Gran Canaria will charge the guest reasonable costs for this. These must be paid before receipt of the data.
