It is not far from the island's capital. The area covers as much as ten hectares and there are as many as 500 diverse Canarian plant species to admire: from cacti to agave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The park was designed in the 1950s by Swedish-Spanish botanist Erik Stevenson.
