La Charca de Maspalomas
The dunes of Maspalomas, are also called La Charca de Maspalomas. It is a protected nature reserve of five square kilometers. The sand has a golden yellow color and exists out of pulverized chalk, shells and volcanic sand. Throughout the beautiful high sand dunes, it reminds a lot of people of the Sahara. Feel free to swim in La Charca or in the ocean and enjoy the beautiful sight.
